I'm replacing the clutch in my 72 e type (v12) and have a question about the new clutch cover. there are three dowels on the flywheel, and it looks like i can put the clutch cover on in a few different positions and it would work. however, i also noticed a red paint mark on the new cover and am wondering if there's any significance to this mark (as in, is it supposed to be on the top). i know that if i'm putting the old one back on, i'd have to put it back in it's original position. Do I need to worry about particular positioning with the new one? also, any idea on what i'm supposed to torque the cover to on the flywheel? thanks for the help.
