Thomas, George speaks the great truth - especially in finding some one who can install the "pin beading" neatly.
Several years ago, I wrote an article for my Club news-letter explaining a much easier way to do the "pin beading" -which I installed on the front edge of the hood on my 140 OTS, and gives a perfect result. It can also be used for the "pin beading " required on a DHC.

If interested, send me your e-mail address -to jerlynn2atmsn.com, and I will send you the instructions for the method I used.

Thomas it would help to know where you are--in general area to make a recomendation. DHC cars are by far the most difficult as the padding of the top and shaping of the padding is the key to success--not to mention putting the pin beading on! Not for the faint o heart--the unskilled --or the impatient. A good DHC with the top up should look like a FHC almost with a cloth top on it!
