Helpers need help...there doesn't seem to be any info here about which vehicle you are referring to. Even absent specifics, though, shouldn't you be able to determine the methods of attachment by looking at the other door(s)?
If you need help with techniques for attaching/affixing trim or molding (and if nobody here offers what you need) perhaps you could try some sweet-talk with an appropriate body or restoration shop for some tips.
