Does anyone know the whereabouts of this car? If I only had the serial number, which I don't!
I bought it in Cincinnati in 1957 from Mike Georgian who was a mechanic at Hassan Motors, the Jaguar dealer. It was an XK120 SE OTS with dual exhaust. The pictures shown here were taken a few weeks before I sold it for $950. At that time 120's were old news since the E was intro'd in 1961.
The tires on the car, quite a distinquishing factor at the time, were recapped 760x16 Firestones off the front of an Indy roadster. The blue paint was Meditteranean Blue from the 1957 DeSoto book. The interior was black. It was originally painted Olde English White or Cream.
I sold the car to a younger fellow who lived in the College Hill area who lived on Belmont Ave. and I can't remember his name. I can remember his last name started with a P. If I only knew more!
