I am looking for a solution. I recently purchase a 2002 x type with timeport phone and port built into console. This phone is intergrated with steering wheel and dash. I cannot have this phone activated due to new federal law with phones lacking GPS. I have called the dealer and was told blue tooth will not work with vin i gave him.
Does anyone know of a cross referenced phone using this port, can I have a GPS chip installed into the phone I have, or can I have a new port and phone installed in console.
