Based on suggestions from wayne Estrada(www.BritishCarLover.com), I am considering some exhaust modifications to my 1996 XJ-S 4.0 Convertible as follows:(1) replacing the two catalytic converters with Extremeflow Converters#XFS609,(2) remove all four silencers(resonators) and replace with dual Flowmaster Performance Mufflers, and (3) relace the factory chrome tips with Ansa or Monza tips.
Wayne reports very good results with these modifications. Has anyone else tried this conversion or any other exhaust conversion that you would recommend? For that matter, other than using K & N air filters, what other low cost performance modifications has anyone done?
