My current issue (and these Jags always seem to have one lined up waiting once you sort the last one) is wiper motor.
As delivered, some MORON had installed a single-speed DR3 with no park switch or wiring, and a 120 degree gear wheel (marked). I obtained through a couple of sources parts to build a proper 2-speed DR3 with park switch AND wiring, and a 150 degree gear wheel (marked).
The 120 was wimpy as far as coverage (Seattle, I drive it rain or shine), but the 150...well, it smacks the windshield/roof pillar on one end, the cowl on the other. I have found out how to wire the field for RH park, done so, swapped the park switch to the proper side, not an issue there.
The gear, though, initial research showed it was supposed to be a 130 degree. Yet, current research calls for a 150, and claims same motor used on "S" types, 420's, and who knows what else.
I have searched my Shop Manual, and the J.33 parts manual to see if it will tell me what "feature" of wiper sweep was being promoted....nothing.
Seems most wipers you can buy are less the gear wheel, so I can't buy another wiper motor and expect it to have what I need.
The best I have come up with is the Jaguar Part Number for the gear wheel...744913.
Tomorrow I call SNG to see, but their on-line shows nothing.
I have the 120 in the car now, no park extender function (wrong crankpin), sweep is a tad short, but better than the 150.
ANYbody know what sweep was on a MK2 stock?
Anybody know what part number that references in degrees? (degrees stamped on gear plate).
I have spent an hour searching online, sent off an e-mail to Steve Hunt in the UK, but it's oh-dark-thirty there now, so I wait.
If it's supposed to be a 150 degree wheel, I have that, and will re-install it, but would be a big relief to know for sure.
Thanks, George, I'm sure you've got just the data I need!

MK2 wiper sweep degrees?
Just checked with SNG and they have plenty but you must ask by the Jaguar number. The wheel is 120 deg BTW.

MK2 wiper sweep degrees?
Dave 744913 is a Lucas number not a Jaguar number--The Jaguar number is 7191. I show the MK2 using two motor versions first to 1966 was 75311 with gear 54707138 and in 1967 motor 75374 with gear 748796. The "S" shows the same but the 420 is not. All of that said I checked my car and it has a 120 deg gear which for here works well. 120 is about all you have for the passengers blade (LHD) so unless the folks are offering some different profile arms I do not see how they could work without hitting. Hope this helps. The 130 deg should be ok but just . I have a bunch of odds and ends if you wish but contact me off list please. Good luck.

MK2 wiper sweep degrees?
And, to show my continued confusion, same guy in the UK, Steve Hunt, who listed a 150 degree gear wheel for a MK2-S-420, also lists a complete rebuilt motor for the same cars as 120 degree.

ARRRGGGHHHH!!!!!!!!!
Finally got the gear, installed, works.......could maybe do with a tad less sweep, but at least I know it's correct.
Oddly, knowing how the wobble plate (spring-loaded) and the cam works, sometimes it parks "high", hit it again, try to catch it on the downsweep to off, and it cycles backwards normally and parks normally.
Now, if I could get blades that work. Tried two sets, I can see what's happening, the crimp of the metal onto the rubber bit makes it contact there quite well, but the sections in between, not so good.
Since I end up in the rain often here near Seattle (like the club Tech Session today), annoying. I may try trimming the rubber a bit.
