I'm restoring a Mk2 and need to decide on original style or polyurethane front and rear bushings, etc. My mechanic says definitely go with poly, but older club members say that will give me harsh feedback through the steering, not worth the increased precision and longer life. I've also heard poly can squeak after a while. This is to be a nice cruiser that will get lots of use, but I want decent handling. Also, shocks recommendation?
