MK1 fuel tank sender bad- MK2 fit?
Thanks George, you always come thru. Now the next question, how do I calibrate the gauge? There are 2 very small nuts on the gauge. Are they the secret? I'd be afraid to tear it apart. The insides look pretty fragile, thanks

Tom you may have to re calibrate your gauge. Fuel tanks are non linear due to shape but the tanks are very similar.
Tom on the back of the gauge you will find a cork plug(s). They allow you to adjust the arm with a fine blade between two points. If it were me I think I would just fill her up and record what the readings are. You know full is full and empty is empty. The first is not an issue--just the latter! Good luck.
