You should have a CVR "constant voltage regulator" on the back of your dash panel. Will be located close to the oil gauge. This supply's a pulsating 10.5 volts to the oil & fuel gauges. I would look there before replacing the gauge. I think a green wire & G/B wire are connected to it.
