Own 1996 XJS, 4.0 The last 2-3 years of this model used the body-color, vinal, one-piece lower front skirt. Some of you owners may have experienced the scraping, cut vinal, etc. due to parking curbs/blocks due to the skirt's very low proximity to the ground. Any ideas how to fabricate/purchase a "skid-plate" or otherwise that could be installed, yet not show in the front of the vehicle? Thanks.
