My father in law recently passed away and we are looking for opinions of value on two of his cars. We also have a large collection of parts for both cars.

1966 E-type 4.2 4 speed 2 seat coupe. 80k or so on it. Has been stored in a garage in Dallas Texas since 1985 or so. Interior was mothballed prior to storage and remains in very nice condition. Exterior has been repainted to a reasonably high standard with the engine removed during the painting process. Color is a light blue. Body appears very straight and original. All chrome is in beautiful condition. Engine is unknown since it has been sitting so long. No information is available on history or pre storage treatments. Outwardly the engine appears well detailed and maintained. There are no stains on the floor below the engine and transmission. Transmission condition is similar. Currently the car is 'frozen' in place. It appears the calipers have frozen to the discs and the car is not moveable. Aside from attempting to push the car out of the garage, it sits as parked (untouched) since 1985 or so.

1997 XK8 convertable. Neiman Marcus edition. Silver exterior. Automatic trans. 65k or so on the odometer. Recent timing chain and tensioners. Interior shows age (droopy fabric on pillars by windshield etc) Your choice of several sets of new wheels and tires. Many new parts will be included in the sale. Brake rotors, pads, oil filters, new seats, new headlights and whatever else you may want. None of the parts currently on the car are broken, he just had a bunch of new parts that he wanted to replace since the old may have been scratched or just slightly worn.

Both cars are located in Duncanville Texas, approximately 45 minutes from Dallas. We will be down there August 13-18th. Interested parties may contact me by email at jhg41977atyahoo.com

Thank you
