I am trying to find the round plastic insert for the dipstick on a 69 2+2. Mine has pretty well fallen apart since it is cheap plastic and lives in a hot environment. It consists of two parts that snap together to fill the 'hole' at the handle of the dipstick. Says something like "Wait one minute before checking oil". It's about 1" in diameter and made of red plastic. Or perhaps made of unobtanium, given how difficult it is to find one.
None of the usual suppliers seem to cary them.
Anybody know who has them, if anybody does? If not does anyone have a spare one they would like to sell?
