I solved my bad PS leak covered in another post, but after watching my clean and dry engine for a couple of weeks to see if there are other leasks, I see a slight drip from the pipe connecting to the upper oil pan. What is this (I assume an input or output of oil going somewhere) and what seals might be involved, what are they called, etc. It looks like the threads at the end of the pipe are weeping ever so slightly, and the four bolts holding the elbow device to the pan have oil around them so something between the device and the pan must be leaking. Can I use silicone sealant that self cures with heat, like on some Mercedes engines?
