Wow!
I've been to Mont Tremblant (90 minutes north of Montreal) many times as a spectator but have never driven the track. I'd heard it was a challenging course but whoa doggie, that video looks like FUN.
I'm going to try and work on a Jaguar club track day (or weekend) for the future. All it takes is cars and money!

Daniel,
WOW!! is an understatement. (was it me or did the driver seem to almost lose it for a second after going under the bridge??) Hope you can work things out to get us on the track. I'll be caravaning up with Warren for that one!
Best regards,
Steve Weinstein

WOW, indeed! That looks like a LOT of FUN! And a spectacular setting, too. Keep us posted on any developments for Jag track time. I could see myself pulling a Pascal for that!

Re: a lap of Mont Tremblant
: great track... didnt' theyused to run F1 GPs there a while back ?

THe last was in the late 60's, perhaps 1970? Track was getting too dangerous. Cars were literally airborne for quite a distance over the infamous "hump" on the back straight (since flattened).
The track was given a much needed total overhaul last year, bringing it up to world class standards. Everything is new.
Beautiful town, beautiful site, beautiful track. I hate to say it, but it's nicer than Lime Rock.

If Daniel can drive down from Montreal to Limerock, you guys from the North East have no excuse. Especially since I'll be showing up too....
Pascal
... itching to get on the road... I actually watched The Gumball Rally for the Nth time this week end... yeah yeah the E-type doesn't start but it's still fun to watch... especailly when the TransAm guys are sweating with their heater on to keep the engine from overheating.... oh and Car Crazy on Speedvision, hosted by Barry Meguiars, had a lengthy interview of Brock Yates where he talked about the Cannonball and how the ambulance scene in the movie is exactly how it happened...
