For Tom Kopke -- your comments about standardizing are part of what JCNA is trying to accomplish re: judging! I'm part of a team (with Bill Streitenberger, Concours Scores Recording, , and Eric Schumaker, JCNA President, who are developing authenticity guidelines for ALL Jaguar models, in an effort to standardize our judging. Re: "certified judges" -- I retain my "qualified judge" card, #06020892, and show it at ALL JCNA concours I'm at. The issues you raise need to be brought to the '01 AGM in Tennessee this summer -- if you can make it there, bring them along for discussion! Meanwhile, this "new" forum is an excellent place for these discussions about judging. By the way -- as a long-term judge (1978 to date, currently Chief Judge for the Sacramento JC), I believe that Jaguar NEVER built a car that can score a true 100.00 points in any of our shows. I KNOW our scores tend to be high, but a true 100.00 means judges without enough knowledge of either the Cats or how they were built.
