For prospective JCNA concours Entrants, the following JCNA concours rules are effective starting in the current (2006) competitive year:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tires: (Chapter V. C.9.c.; Chapter VI. E. 46. Note m.)
For all entries in Champion and Driven Division classes:
"Redline sidewalls were never offered by Jaguar and are considered non-authentic."

Note: Redline tires may be remounted/reversed, allowing only the blackwall to show.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
XK120 Batteries: (Chapter V. D.10; Chapter VI. G. 4-7. Note m.)
XK120 Entrants will be asked to open the battery compartments in order for the Judge to examine the general area, the configuration of the two 6 volt batteries, the Lucas bakelite battery covers, the visible cables and the battery hold downs. (The battery cable ends of XK120s are not judged unless the battery covers are missing.)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Other Batteries:
A. XK140 and XK150 batteries will not be judged because of their (underwing) inaccessibility.

B. Batteries located in the Boot or Engine Compartments of Champion and Special Division Entries will be judged. (Chapter V. E.4 & F.5.e; Chapter VI. H. 1&2. Note a. & I. 4-7. Note a.)

Note:
1. Champion Division Entry batteries and their components are judged for condition, cleanliness and authenticity.
2. Special Division Entry batteries and their components are judged for condition and cleanliness only.
3. Driven Division Entry batteries are not judged.
