I have just purchased a car from California and was told it had been purchased previously from a Jaguar dealer near Monterey, but they could not recall the dealer name and also thought the dealership had since closed. They purchased in the mid 1980's so does anyone recall the names of the Jaguar dealers in that locality around that time?
Any help on tracing these guys would be much appreciated as I am in the UK and so its not so easy to source such information. Perhaps someone has the dealer brochure list from that period they could PM me?
Also any valued tips on how to trace previous owners in the USA would be well received too.
