As far as looks go-are there any differences in orginals vs. reproductions in these lights. Am I crazy for wanting to go the orginal route or do I just buy the ones Bill Tracy sells and go on. Somebody help me make up my mind.
Regards,
Gill

J head lamps
Hi Jim, I bought my lamps on ebay, a word of advice, only buy a complete light with bulbs and pigtails because I don't know if the repos parts will work on the orignals, those plastic pieces that the bulbs go in are very hard to find, I just lucked out when these things came up. If you will watch ebay close, there's a guy that has a set that is complete with all the chrome and everything, show quality but very expensive. I didn't buy those because I just needed the light part and not the buckets or the chrome.
Regards,
Gill

Dear Gill,

J head lamps
Well I bought the orignal J lamps and put them on today. Needless to say they look great, the only difference in repos and orignals is the real ones have "lucas" stamped at the bottom, I got these right so they really were not any more as far as cost, I quess I'm too particular when it comes to this stuff.
Regards,
Gill
