I need to replace the wood trim around the air vents and have located a salvaged Jaguar with excellent interior wood. What is the best way to remove the wood w/o damaging it? Thanks again

It comes out pretty easily if you do things in the right order. The cd manual offered by JDHT is a valuble asset if you don't already have it. It tells you how. You could also go to You basically have to start from the center armrest and work forwards. Screws inside console, under ashtray, two wingnuts under rear of ski slope. Carefully pry up gear lever surround and remove wood ski slope to the rear.
