Just bought a 95 XJ6. The body and mechanics are good. Rear seat in good shape, but the 2 front seats need help. I would like to re-upholster the seats myself. Is there a place that sells a kit for it? I have BMW and i located a shop that sells that. Hopefully there is one for Jaguar. Any help would be great.

I'm still left wondering what you mean by "bad worn". Is the leather paper thin? Torn? Or is it just a little dried out, with areas where the colorant is missing? Thin or torn requires repair. Worn can be restored.

But if you are determined to replace it, check with a good local auto upholstery shop. Ask at your local club for a reference.

Thanks Doug. The drivers seat is bad worn. Passenger seat is possibly restorible. I checked BAS Jaguar and OSJI sites. They handle XJ40 and earlier. Would know of any others?

Ty, what do you mean that the seats "need help"? Are you sure the existing leather cannot be restored. Unless it is very badly worn or ripped, it is usually possible to resurrect it.

You can get replacement leather from BAS Jaguar or OSJI (Original Specification Jaguar Interiors).
