Do you have an XJ or XKR with 20 inch wheels? IÔÇÖm writing to determine the interest in supplying trim rings for these wheels. The most common problem with the Jaguar 20ÔÇØ wheel made by BBS is that if you even gently touch a curb, the thin polished stainless steel trim ring gets ÔÇ£rashedÔÇØ as in the photo. BBS does not offer a replacement ring. A new wheel is $2500, and for many Jaguars like my 2003 XKR it is no longer even available. I researched what it would take to make these. I am considering an investment in tooling to make a batch of these for my XKR and others' cars. The new ones would be better quality than the originals - slightly thicker and sturdier. Replacing the original finishing ring is easy without a mechanic. I estimate the price of the ring would be $300 or less. I am trying to determine if there is enough interest to warrant my investment in the tooling. Please post or drop me a reply if interested.

the trim rings can be purchased from SB Wheels in the UK. I purchased a set from SB wheels and am quite happy with them. I will confirm that the replacement can be done by those with average mechanical skills
