Hey Guys:
To bring you up to date on the continuing saga. I got the alternator back on the car it had checked fine. I took the speedometer out to see if I could spot any loose connections. When I was moving wiring around the ignition light went out on it's own! Now I don't know what fixed it. I hate that part of the problem. I tightened all connections and called it an evening. The headlight dimmer light is working and I'm low on fuel so I should know about the fuel light when I drive it a few more miles. The onboard alternator gauge is showing it's charging. Thanks for all the help.
