1973 Jaguar E-type roadster.
The Ignition dash lite stays on when ignition key is in the off position.When the key is in on position the lite turns off.Car starts and runs fine.The problem is in off position with ignition lite on, the battery goes dead.The trouble started last weekend after a two day,300 mile trip to Mad Dogs and Englishmen show with temps in the high 90's.Where should I start trouble shooting this problem??. HELP.

Coolcatcorp.com discusses a lot of alternator and relay problems. I don't know about 73s, but this certainly sounds like a common relay problem. This subject has also been covered in recent threads on the jag-lovers.org Etype forums. Good luck Curt 1967 E-type S1 FHC
