Dumb Limey question: is running like a bear good or bad? The three bears in total I came across on Skyline Drive were pretty lousy runners but as I was on a motorcycle I gave them right of way.
Keep an eye on coolant level, including with a dip stick if the header cap is too far over or too dark to see. If you over filled it would drip out the overflow pipe but not after standing cold. Next time it would not drip again until the engine got hotter than before - possibly from heat stroke after switch-off. If you keep topping up it will keep 'leaking' even if nothing is wrong and you will chase your tail.
If it keeps on going down every trip there's an issue. If it doesn't, you're fine.
