hose replacement

Hello y'all: has anyone replaced the hose that connects to the water pipe on a 4.0 in an 1994 XJS?
If so, please respond with any advice to dismantle and replace. I had an overheating indication
yesterday, replaced some fluid, only a gallon, let the engine cool, then started it up, waited
for it to get to normal, accelerated up to 2000 rpm, and that is when a stream of coolant visited
the inside of the bonnet, and it was raised! Thank you for your help. The tomatoes have ripened,
and the BLT'S are delishous. Ali King
