Trying to research my car's (880199) history and have been unsuccessful to date finding early photo's of car from my own family. On the HC there is the name of first owner: M C Willes, Jr. Hoping to locate his family, has anyone ever come across this name previous?

The dealer listed is "not recorded", Importer is Jaguar Cars, New York (never thought to ask, but would Jaguar America have that information?) The first owner is from Boothbay Harbor, Maine. I have sought the help of various historical groups in that area after my online searching failed.
My car is with Darryl and Company.
(I sent you an email previous)

Heritage Certificate
Richard your profile says you are in my club. Are you? In any case the HC also has a dealer and address of the owner--might make it a bit easier as I am sure there are/were a few M.C. Willes in various parts of the country.
During the period that car was new the dealers for that area were:
Portland---Performance Motors inc. Falmouth-Foreside
Bangor-- Atwood Motor Co. 19-29 May Street
Auburn--Pontiac Center inc.
The distributor for that area was Jaguar of New York Distributors inc.
32 E. 57th Street NY22 NY with adddresses at 53-02 Broadway, Woodside NY
Of course the car could have come via a different source..
As far as the North American Archives are concerned I would have assumed you went through them for your HC. If not you might try them as sometimes information is on the records that does not get placed on the HC.
