My MK2, using a C.20685 turn signal and headlamp flash-to-pass unit, needs the rod to activate the flash to pass unit.
Mine is just worn too far to work any more. I have gone through my J.33 manual, it only shows the assembly, no breakdown in the parts listing.
I am guessing another vehicle's parts book may have this part listed separately, like the cancelling part I got for an E type.
I am thinking a phenolic rod or fibre rod, but if I can get the correct part, of the correct length (since I have no idea how long this one originally was) I would be in good shape.
