I was thinking of installing a gear reduction starter motor. What is the best way of doing so? from underneath? from on top? I hope that you do not tell me to take the transmission cover off, or engine out, or carbs off,....

Gear reduction starter motor
I put mine in my 150 by removing the front wheel and crawling under the fender
Once you get the old heavy one out, the GRS goes in very easy
