At the 1996 AGM subject award was proposed for the JCNA member with the highest aggregate yearend placement in Concours, Rally and Slalom in the same car. All event Divisions and Classes were to be eligible. Somehow the Driven Division of the Concours was not included in the developed criteria. A member has proposed that the Driven Divison Concours scores be multiplied by10 to provide a suitable comparison with the Championship Division Concours scores and that in 2002 cars and members from both Concours Divisions be eligible for consideration. The National Concours Awards reward cosmetics the Fred Horner Sportsman Award is for stellar participation in all JCNA Events. Are there any negative thoughts on the subject?

Most folks that have a 99+ point car have expresed to me they do not want to "thrash" their baby on the slalom course. I do take my E-type out to slalom and on rallyes, and enter it in jcna shows but its hard to keep them in a pristine condition if we are to drive them. 100 point cars are rarely driven very far, let alone a slalom or rainy rallye. With all of the variables I hardly see a chance of a tie, if there is a tie, its is very simple...the champion division car would win over the driven class that would be it...
