I received the following info by Email from Brock McPherson, chairman of the Fred Horner Award committee who clarifies the way the award works.

We had a discussion on this a few weeks ago and I think nobody was really sure of how it works. Here it is :

-----

The method of selection includes entering three concours with the same car using a three show average and a base 100 number; entering one slalom with the competitorÆs time calculated to a percentage of the fastest time within his class thus becomes a base 100 number; and rally competitorÆs error time is calculated to a percentage of the winning error time for each of his best two rallies then averaged to get a base 100 number.

The addition of the three base numbers result in an aggregate score with the highest score receiving the award.

Doesn't clarify to me if Driven is acceptable of is this restricted to Champion class.

Might be worth having this somewhere on the site.
