Does anyone know the part number and the location to install the "shorting plug" required to make the front fog lights functional on a '95 XJS 4.0 litre convertible? Mine is a made for Canada model, serial 198039. I've obtained the correct switch packs, DAC10203, and DAC11170. My manuals have only made my head hurt, as they variously make references to the back of the dash pack, a mysterious "connector 3" (perhaps the connector for DAC10203?), or describe it in the key list, with the corresponding number not shown on the diagram.
I couldn't bring myself to parting with the cash for the Jag fog light kit, which is reputed to have all you need. All that money bouncing off a misjudged curb or some other immovable object made me think twice. And, the kits I've researched do not have the "shorting bar" listed in the included items anyway!
Also, outside chance, but has anyone been able to source the approprite AMP connectors to plug the fog lights into the factory harness?
