I have a 1995 xjs 6 cyl. convertible. It has been running great but after driving it, it will not start. I had to get it towed 2 times and each time after getting it off the tow truck it started right up. The engine turns over great but not firing - any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Cliff,
I am more familiar with the V12s, however 1st thing I would check when the car refuses to start would be to pull off a spark plug wire and see if there is spark when the engine is turned over, at least if there is spark then it would be a fueling problem more than likely. The 6 cylinder cars are so reliable so I hear , but I guess there are some issues once in awhile, nice car however.
If you do not get any other answers just go and post the same ? on Jaglovers.com,
Good luck, Art
