To call a car " a near 100 Point " doesn't mean a thing unless it was judged by knowledgeable people! The car pictured is very nice but has MANY authenticity problems. I'm sure the owner is aware of these problems or should be. I couldn't start to tell you how many times a car that is brought to the Michigan Concours is bumped on something, and I am informed that he has shown this car in other places and never been bumped. Of course all I can say is that you've been lucky and now you know. The problem is, of course, not enough knowledgeable judges and sometimes people that are knowledgeable end up judging a class they know nothing about.
