I'm going to put my XJ6C back on the road but would first like a knowledgeable person go through the (relatively) low mileage engine (44K miles) first. My intent at this time is to only do the minimum work required - I'd love to do nothing more than clean it up and install new gaskets/seals and maybe a water pump, waiting to rebuild it until a later date when the car is properly restored.
Can anyone recommend a shop in the Boston / southern NH area that is willing to tear down an engine and reassemble it?
