Beautiful car. History is very important. My 55 head was rebuilt in 1987. They
used hardened valves and seats. No need for additives. That being said,
lead additives would be a safe bet with out engine history.
Oil, buy it by the case and change it 3k to 5k. I have used all types for the last
28 years. I usually change it once a year if I don't exceed the mileage.
