I want to buy for the replacement of a complete engine and transmission a Engine Hoist "Pivot Plate" with an adapter as this equipment is not available in Germany.
Technical data of my car: Jaguar saloon Mk 2 (Model 340) Manufactured 1968, 6 cylinders, Twin Carburetters S.U. H.D.6, engine overhauled by VSE, UK, transmission modified with Getrag 5-Speed supplied by MandCWilkinson, UK.
Myk's Tools 93605 Sunnyvale Lane Coos Bay, OR 97420 are offering this equipment (plate and adapter for Jaguar 1948-1988 DOHC 6 Cylinder), but various requests to get an offer haven't been answered. Other sources like Mac's Tie-Downs dont offer the Jaguar Adapter.
Any suggestions how to proceed?
