I have a 1998 Jaguar XJ8 VDP for which I am seeking to purchase the correct Jaguar electronic scan tool in an effort to diagnose electrical related problems. I have searched on line and while many models of the scan tool are offered, none appear to be specifically engineered to fit my make, year and model of vehicle. If such a scan tool is available from Jaguar that is specifically tailored for my year and model then I would appreciate advise or direction in the pursuit of that objective. My local Jaguar Dealer does not work on Jaguars over 10 years old and appears to be the only factory authorized dealer within the entire state and though this dealer has multiple locations they all share the same policy.
