Hi Folks!
The Jaguar gremlins have struck again. The car is a 1997 XK-8 convertable with 135000 miles.
Today, We had a series of messages: Drivers door open, Trunk Open, Hood open, Windshield wash low, Passenger door open.... all repeating while the car is in park. We had to use the override to get the car out of Park so we could get it home. The remote trunk release won't work, and the key/transmitter will not open the trunk or lock the doors.
The failure messages stayed on all the way home - except that every time the car hit the right kind of bump, the light would go out for 1/2 second.
Apparently a loose connection. Any suggestions where to look?
