Hi, We've finally settled in here in Florida and going to rejoin the Jaguar ranks this Saturday at the Central Florida Concours after a 3 year sebatical. Our cars were in storage until last fall so we're driving everywhere we can now. Looking forward to the 2 hour drive to Mt Dora.

The last time our 72 was judged(in '04), we lost points for having dark brown brackets holding the header tank to the front horizontal frame rail. Russ's book said they should be dark brown and I painted them as he suggested during my restoration. Judges then said they should be black so we got a few points deducted.

Is the answer documented elsewhere? I see the latest S3 judging guide doesn't clarify this. BTW, what an outstanding document. Well done writers!

Thanks,
