Door glass replacement

Car is a Series II 2+2
Owner wants to avoid disassembling the door if at all possible.

Question:

Is it possible to replace the door glass in this car without removing the window frame from the car. I know how to separate the glass from the channel it sits in without removing that channel. Once I separate the glass from that channel is there a way to maneuver the glass out of the door with the window frame still attached to the door?
