We recently purchased a 1967 e-type, we are the third owners and she is in excellent and what appears to be original condition except paint and interior carpet and seats. The original owner purchased her new in 1966 and sold her to the Gentleman we purchased her from in 2000. All receipts were kept for parts and service including the original sales slip(not the build sheet) since she was new. The mileage shown is 49K and the gentleman we purcased her from was certain that this mileage is correct. Do all of these receipts which appear to indicate that the 49K is correct constitute full documentation? Obviously there are large gaps in time when she was not driven or serviced.
Thanks for your help.

We mailed in the Heritage Certificate form 9-15-05 and have not heard back as of yet. We're hoping that this certificate will be able to tell us more facts about the car such as options ordered etc. David and Vickie Walters

Have you obtained a JDHT Heritage Certificate? That's one of the best forms of documentation to show that your car has matching numbers, etc.
