I am planning to install the Pertronix ignitor. I did so with my Porsche 356 and have been very happy. Before ordering the part I want to be sure of having the correct distributor 22D6. Where can I find the model of distributor? From the Pertronix website there may be overlap with a 25D6 distributor. I have the 1967 late series 1 XKE with triple carbs.
Thank you and a belated thank you to the forum pointing me to Mike Eck who repaired my clock.

You will have to pull the distributor to see the number, and its there somewhere. The Pertronix device works well, but it does require at least 12v on the hot wire. Be sure your car is giving you close to the battery voltage or run a more direct wire. It also means the device wont work if you battery is low. Carry the points with you just in case.
