I'd like to see if I have this proposal straight. Reimbursing directors for "thousands of dollars each year." 15+ directors at an average of $2000 each would come to something in the neighborhood of $6 per JCNA member. Presumably funded from a JCNA dues increase of $6?
For the record, I differ from my opponent in this position. If directors are incurring high expenses to the extent that it explains the reluctance of people to run, we must explore AFFORDABLE ways of getting the same or better results. If anyone asks, I'd be happy to provide a couple of dozen "tried and true" ways to accomplish this.
