Thanks for the info, every bit of info helps. I am going to work on it on Thursday since it's my day off. I will try to do that. I tried to remove the vinyl trim, I was able to pull it back a bit and found where the wire goes in. I was not able to remove the hood latch that is connected to the door and the vinyl but i was able to see where the wire goes. The issue is how to fish out the wire. I looked at the switch last night in it looks like it is bolted to the door, so I will try to unscrew that bolt without removing the door and see if i can fish for the wire.
