Are these straps always placed horizontly on the top bow, or has anyone seen them at an angle of about 15-30 degrees?

Speaking from my Series 1 point of view, the internal wood bow piece that the straps screw down to is only a few inches wide, so I don't see how you could get 15-30 degrees angle anyway. Mount them horizontally.
