I have been in communication with the author of the "Mark 2 Judging Guide".
While it does state the guide is written referencing US and Canadian cars, which I had seen, it does include certain facets of the 2.4L (like, proper engine serial numbers).
I think what was the main confusion to me was the word "all".
As in "all MKII's shall have.......".
I have offerred the data I have, in print form, to assist in making the "guide" a little more inclusive.
And, he answered the questions I had asked.
