About to change cam oil feeder lines. Original line has finally developed small leak at the joints. For those who have changed this line, can you provide any tips, cautions, "watch out fors" or any other helpful info to make this job easier and proper. Also, need to change the coolant in preparation for spring/summer. Again, any tips in this regard as to method, brand of coolant, amount, procedure etc. This is a Series II 1970 OTS. Thanks very much for your help. Don #55.

Don: When I changed mine I bought two new special banjo bolts from SNG Barrett, formerly British Auto USA. These special bolts are longer than stock which means more threads holding them in the aluminum head which means less chance of stripping the threads. The third bolt goes into the cast iron block so there is little chance of stripping those threads. Also use new copper sealing washers. It is not worth trying to reuse the old ones.
