I was looking at the maps and considering a more leisurely route from mid/west Texas to Phoenix to enjoy the scenery instead of sticking to the interstate all the way to Phoenix
Would be nice to make that a group drive with other club members coming from the central/eastern regions.
A meeting point in North Texas near the New Mexico state line would be a good in between spots for all. It's more or less on the way for anyone coming from the NC clubs (just south of I40), not too far up from the Texas club, and convenient for those from the south east.
Then a couple of days drive thru New Mexico and into Arizona, possibly even with side trip to the Grand Canyon ?
Timewise, have everyone drive to the meeting point over the week end, and do the rest of the trip mon/tue.
Any interest ?
