All,
First Issue:I have a 68 series 1.5 that cuts out power while driving. It has happened no less than 6 times in the past two weeks. I put in a new battery after it cut out, my mechanic says both the alternator and regulator are good. When it cuts out, all power is gone, I can usually return the key and get it going (power) while in motion.
Second issue: I just had led turn signal lights installed, however they are not working and now the hazard lights that were working before do not work at all.......bit dangerous,when the first issue above happens.Note..I had a led rear and brake lights installed a few months ago and they work great...Would strongly recommend them to anyone for fear of being rear ended.
Due to my other cars being stored, I have had to store the Jag outside, under car cover....the temps have gotten down to low 30's but I find it hard to believe that it's weather related. I do not have the tools to fix it, and so I rely on my mechanic who is the mechanic to our British Car Club.
Any help would be appreciated!!!!
